[Wactclc-alma] Multiple links to source

Traci,

The Links at the bottom of the page are coming from MARC 856 fields in the bib record.

If you want to remove the links below, you need to delete the 856 fields from the MARC record in Alma.  If you have daily record updates set up with OCLC, be warned that these links are in the WorldCat master record and they’ll end up right back in your bib record whenever you get a new copy of the record after it gets updated in OCLC.

Hello All,

We added a  local electronic portfolio, Textbook for the Veterinary Assistant<https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsbctc-btcctc.primo.exlibrisgroup.com%2Fpermalink%2F01STATEWA_BTC%2F5ik1d1%2Falma992328523702804&data=02%7C01%7C%7C1a7932d6b7bf4d8b283808d7b972b4ba%7C02d8ff38d7114e31a9156cb5cff788df%7C0%7C0%7C637181774629649529&sdata=wm2ta0QF2yryXovJoiyyBLuid7VQy19LXahfX88n1r4%3D&reserved=0>, in Alma. There are 14 portfolios in the CZ, and 7 of those portfolios are displaying as links in the Primo record. Has anyone else experienced this before? How do I edit this portfolio, so that only links to our holdings are displayed? The only links in the “Links” list that takes the patron to the full text of this eBook are “EBSCOhost” and “Link to resource”. This is very confusing for our patrons. I am actually thinking that in this specific instance it would be best if all links in the list were removed.
