[Wactclc-alma] [External] Alma / Elsevier integration

We have three ScienceDirect journals collections activated and each collection has its own POL. In the documentation how to move these POLs to the Journals Complete collection is covered, but I wonder how cost per use analytics data would be affected by having three POLs attached to one collection? The advantage of using the integration profile over having individual collections activated is that the titles are more up-to-date, right?

Thank you,
Naoko

Wade,
I am following Elsevier's instructions for creating a token from the admin site (although the are instructions for the OLD admin site, not the new one, grr) and I think I've done it. I will email you the token directly...

Thanks to Amy for the head's up yesterday about this.

I just learned that an Alma integration exists to automatically keep your Elsevier activations in Alma accurate with respect to titles available in your account.

(The Elsevier collections are Selective in Alma, so without the integration, you have to go through and manually activate the individual titles that you subscribe to.)

This integration just requires a token you can grab out of your Elsevier admin account, to be used in an integration profile.

If you have Elsevier (which includes ScienceDirect) subscriptions, let me know and I can help you get this set up.

(I would actually like to test it in one of our Alma sandboxes first, to make sure it works as expected. )
