In brief, you can create a local scope via the "Custom Local Data Scopes" tab under Discovery / Search Profiles.

First, create a custom local scope that limits to a physical location, much in the same way you do with an advanced search.

Then, once you have that custom local scope, you can a new search profile, and add your custom scope to that profile.

Hi Traci:

How we handle this is we have a New Materials Display location at both campuses and we have a link that searches that display and returns the list of titles that are on display. The titles stay on display for maybe a month or two and then they are shelved in their permanent location. When that happens, the location is changed and they then no longer show up on the list. It works pretty well and requires virtually no maintenance on the back end.
