Thanks!  I'm not creating a brand new collection each time (or getting a new URL each time), I've just been deleting the titles in the collection and re-adding them from my saved logical set, whenever we change out our new books display.  It takes about a minute.

I'll check this out and see if this job would give us any benefit.  Does it generate the list when orders are placed or when items are received, or once they're shelved? We don't want things to show up on our list that aren't fully processed and ready for loan, which is why our current method is working for us.

The Nov 2019 release as the new 'add titles to collection' report, so you can now add new titles to a collection via a job. That would, I think, remove the need to update the URL each time you update the collection:

There is a facet you can enable called 'new records', that post-search, you can select newly added records (1 week 1 month 3 months) that match the results.

I created a Primo "Collection" of our new materials (https://sbctc-olympic.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/discovery/collectionDiscovery?vid=01STATEWA_OLYMPIC:OLYMPIC&collectionId=8123237180002816).  It's based off of a logical set in Alma of items that are in our "new books" location. The collection doesn't update all on its own, I have to trigger it to update, which I do every couple of weeks.  Primo "Collections" have their own unique URLs so you can add a link to your home page to that collection.

I'm curious if anyone else has found any other/better way to create a new materials list for public consumption!
