[Wactclc-alma] ASP parser parameters

At the end of today's call, I had to go off to the reference desk, so I don't know how the conversation about Alexander Street Press ended, but I wanted to follow up.

I think Elena and I have the same CZ collection (there is only one Academic Video Online Premium United States with portfolios in the CZ), but I activated a year ago and somehow we got different parser parameters in the portfolios. ASP tech support said the aspresolver.com URLs are used in their MARC records. We recently started subscribing to ASP's Music Online: The Garland Encyclopedia of World Music, so I activated the CZ collection this month, and the portfolios came with the aspresolver.com URLs. Both CZ collections were updated on 11/3/19. (ASP tech support said only their video collections have been moved to the new interface, because it is designed specifically for video content, but they are planning to move other collections such as the music collection we subscribe to will be moved to a new interface. The aspresolver.com URLs in Music Online's portfolios still go to the old interface). ASP must have updated their collections in Alma and replaced the search.alexanderstreet.com parser parameters with the aspresolver.com parser parameters because then they don't have to worry about URL changes thanks to their link resolver.

What I am wondering is, why didn't the parser parameters in the portfolios get updated in the collection I activated a year ago? It is linked to the same CZ collection as Elena's as far as I can tell. I thought if a collection in the IZ is linked to the CZ, any updates to the CZ collection would be reflected in the collection in the IZ?

Thank you,
Naoko
