[Wactclc-alma] EBSCO subscription Ebook Collections in CZ

To my knowledge, the ebscohost ebook collections represented in Alma CZ is still incomplete.

I just pulled a list of the EBSCOhost ebook collections in the CZ, and sorted them by modification date:

You can use this list to get an overview of which collections have been updated recently.

Out of 60 or so collections, 30 or so have been updated in 2019, so I'd say about ½ of them are current.

As Lesley points out, the Academic and Community College collections are still stale, unfortunately (unless they exist in a newer form under a different name?).

It's a very very weak kb article though, and looks half-baked / unedited. So I'm not sure what they are trying to communicate on it.

Has anyone heard an update on this? I met with George this week and they seem to think all EBSCO ebook collections are in the community zone; however, the community college collection is still showing as last updated in 2016.

Guess we'll continue to manage it locally?

I know wade said back in March that there were multiple showing with differing dates. They were supposed to clean that up and only have the one show

It looks like the Community College collection isn't live yet in the Community Zone. Is there an ETA for that?

EBSCO recently announced that as of April, Ex Libris is now accepting our title feed for the subscription ebook collections maintained in the CZ. Tis would mean by activating the collections there, you would no longer need to load MARC records as a local collection and the CZ collections will be kept up to date automatically as the collections change!
