If it’s Fort Steilacoom-specific, and not occurring in Puyallup, then some kind of network issue seems possible.

If there is anyone at Fort Steilacoom that could work on Alma via wifi for a while, you might be able to isolate the issue more. (If it’s a local connectivity issue somewhere, may only affect wired connections in the building.)

Or, even somewhere else on the FS campus, to see if the issue is specific to that building.

If it happens with both internal and external accounts, that rules out any SAML issue.

​Interesting! We haven't seen the Bib error posted below. However, we do most of our cataloging work at Puyallup, and they haven't seen the connection error either.



When I left Fort Steilacoom last night, the connection error was still running rampant!

We haven’t see that message.  However for the last week or so we’ve had an error message about every 4th bib record we delete during a big cart of deletes.  I wonder if the issues are related since it’s about the same time frame?

This is the error we got, for multiple people, and in Firefox and Explorer.  It’s working today so far in Chrome so I don’t know if it’s browser related or if the problem has magically gone away.  Are you still seeing your problem this morning, or has yours also mysteriously gone away?

Hi all,

We’ve had persistent connection errors at one of our campuses for the last week. Has anyone else seen this message?

We are seeing it on multiple machines, in different browsers, and with different logins.

It seems to be happening about a dozen times a day.

I’ve opened a ticket with Ex Libris, but no luck yet.
