[Wactclc-alma] Issues with years in second line of call number RE: Purdue Inventory code - ready for testing

I'd just tell my circ staff to ignore it.

There are several sections of LCC that were developed early on where the constructed call numbers don't follow the rules that LC later settled on for creating call numbers.  Off the top of my head, I know years crop up as part of the call number in the J, HA, BS, and K schedules.  There are probably more I'm forgetting or haven't run across.

Trying to track down those specific areas and code for them in sorting algorithms is more work than anyone not at an large research university with a major library endowment realistically has time for. ;)

We are having issues with the Shelflist reading call numbers where there is a year in the second line.

Has anyone else encountered this? Should I just tell our circ staff to ignore?
