[Wactclc-alma] Delay in Patron Merge functionality confirmed

Thanks to Elena at SVC for opening a case to have patron merge functionality activated in their Alma instance.

As was rumored (and as we discussed in a recent Tuesday call), this functionality has indeed been delayed, due to potential data damage. The functionality will be re-done, and provided in a future release, as per the case notes:

Our Development team has decided to postpone the deployment of the new Merge Patron Records feature and the addition of this privilege to a future release. The expected release is not known at this time. This decision was made due to a risk of data damage upon running the job.
