Also, the box that says "expended from fund" is not checked, but it should be checked if you want tax subtracted from your Alma budget. I will be checking that box at the beginning of our next fiscal year.

Look and see if they show up on the Summary tab instead of the invoice lines tab.

My tax workflow is a little different, but for a manual invoice after I have the regular PO lines done, I add shipping as a separate line item, not linked to a PO number. I make sure to choose "shipping" as the line type. The tax I do on the summary page and it shows as an adjustment on the po lines page.

Hello,

I have been working with the good folks at Shoreline to troubleshoot a problem involving the creation of invoice lines for tax and shipping.

I wonder if someone with direct experience in this area could share their thoughts.

Here's Shoreline's description of the issue:

Steps:

*         Acquisitions > Receiving and Invoicing > Create an Invoice > Manually > Next > Fill out screen

*         Save and Create Invoice Lines > Add Invoice Line > Search or add POL number (fill in rest of screen if needed, check price) >Add

*         Repeat for all POLs

*         Click on arrow for Type choose Tax > add information needed > Add > Repeat but choose shipping > Add and Close

The POL's show up but the tax or shipping are not.   I have to either click on Save or put Invoice in review, when I open the invoice again then the tax and shipping show up.
