Yes, good point, Gerie. And thanks everyone for contributing to this conversation.

We had a good procedure example yesterday of Alma withdraw procedures from Kirsti.

And an excellent example today from Stephanie on course reserves.

I can take those examples, normalize them a bit for consortial use, and post them to our web site.

And if any of you are currently sitting on any procedural documents that you feel would be good for consortial consumption, please send them to me, and I can do the same with them.

A good thread: we should really have a list of ideal Fulfillment procedures out there somewhere for our consortium to refer to....otherwise, we're all reinventing the wheel.

The one last thing I always do is a "check" of sorts in Fulfillment > Advanced Tools > Fulfillment Configuration Utility

We've had the "Duck family" setup as practice patrons in our ILS for a long time. If Daffy can check it out for 2 hours, then it's "on reserve"  :)

Hi Lesley,

When I'm adding materials from the library collection to reserve, after putting them on the reading list, I usually go into the scan-in items/change item info and then do a temporary change to add it to the reserves location, have the call number changed to the course number (ie HIST 121 or whatever), change the item policy to match the limited check out now (ie 2 hour reserve), and whatever else needs to be changed.  Make sure to select the reading list as well in this area.

Once I have that all set up I just scan everything I need to add to that reading list and I'm good to go.

I've attached my reserve procedures I've created to this email in case that's helpful.

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to help troubleshoot a course reserves issues, but honestly, I haven't worked much with Reading Lists.

When you Add Citation -> Add Repository Citation, should Alma automatically put that item into a temporary location of "Reserve"? That's the behavior our team is expecting.
