[Wactclc-alma] Active Directory Login Issue

The problems with logging are coming from people in Wenatchee on campus.

But yes, my internal account is working splendidly from here :-)

It’s possible that your external authentication isn’t working because of being offsite at the technical seminar, and restrictions within the on-site wifi.



Do you have an internal account in Alma you can use?

We might have the same issue going on at Wenatchee.  I'm in a technical seminar and I'm trying to direct some testing by email ?? Looks like external accounts are having trouble logging in to Alma using network credentials (active directory) and that at least the staff side is down for Primo (which makes sense of course).  I'm waiting on current student test logins to see if the student side is down as well.

I just discovered that our students cannot log in to Primo, either.  I’ve passed this info on to our Tech Services people.  Too bad your initial idea is not relevant.  :(

Nevermind…this is Monday.  The PPMS and SMS jobs don’t run on the weekend, so no file to process.



So, this is not related at all.

I can see that the neither the employee nor the student job processed any records today…or yesterday…because no input file was found.



This means that for some reason your PPMS and SMS jobs either did not run or were not able to connect to and deliver files to the FTP server at Wenatchee.



Maybe this is a clue as to why your external accounts aren’t working this morning.

At Yakima today we are unable to log in to Alma or Primo with our Active Directory accounts.  Our internal accounts are working to log in to circulation.  Why would Active Directory suddenly not recognize our passwords?  We are able to use the same password and login to access or computers, email, EZproxy access, etc.  I’ve submitted a ticket to our local help desk.  Does anyone have any ideas about this or has this happened to others?  I saw earlier problems with SAML but we don’t use that.
