[Wactclc-alma] Non-Roman characters in Request Cancellation notice

Kirsti,

Unless you're getting multiple reports of this, it feels most like an encoding issue on the receiving side.

Either in the user's browser, or email client, or operating system.

Possibly someone with multi-linguange support installed, who switches back and forth between various character encoding in their browser or apps.

We just got a report from one of our patrons that the Request Cancellation Notice they received was completely in non-Roman characters.  The patron forwarded the copy of the notice they received and it's not just in non-Roman characters, it's in non-Roman characters from different language groups.  I see Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Cyrillic, Greek,  and Lao characters, and some things that I don't even know what they are.  When we look at the copy of the Notice attached to the patron record, it looks fine.

Has anyone run into this before?
