[Wactclc-alma] Primo not accessing Alma anymore

Elena,

I did see the email from Mindy this morning about this issue, and opened a system down ticket for SVC.

This was an issue related to a normalization rule in your Primo instance.

If you want to look at the ticket, it's 467191. Text from ticket is below.

It appears that as of current time, issue is resolved.

Hi Wade,

The indexing job completed. Searching for "Water" we can see All Sources scope, we can see local records, and the "Available in Library" facets.

Please check results and let me know if you still see anything not working correctly.

Hi Wade,

We guess the records got 'NO TITLES' was caused by the failed deployment of normalization rules.

We ran re-norm pipe and updated the records in Primo. Now the indexing job is running and we expect it to finish in an hour.

We will check results after that and update you with the progress.

Hello,

We received your system down report. Actually the search works fine, but there is a problem with your data. if you search SKAGIT_ALMA in the Local Catalog scope, you will see the local records, but they don't have titles.

We are still investigating why the records are loaded with no titles, and how to fix them. We will update you when we have better idea how to solve the proble,

All of a sudden, our library catalog searches in Primo are bringing up error messages. Our IT department has been doing some server maintenance, but why would that impact Primo/Alma?? Is anyone else experiencing this?
