[Wactclc-alma] e-reserves in Alma

Hello,

We have a few faculty here at North Seattle College that rely on e-reserves within the ILS because they don't use the canvas shell for posting materials.  I've played around with e-reserves in Alma during our test environment phase, and I had good success.  I have not tried it out since we went live, and instead I am posting e-reserves to my facweb folder.

SPSCC moved away from e-reserves a few years ago and helped our faculty migrate their digital copies to their Canvas classes.

Pierce College moved away from e-reserves when we migrated to Alma. Every class has a Canvas shell and we agreed with Amy’s sentiment below.

I’m curious how many libraries here are providing e-reserves services in Alma?  I ask because I recently had to take over course reserves and it seems to me that the best place for electronic documents for a course (readings, etc.) would be the instructor’s Canvas shell, if they are using Canvas either fully online, hybrid, web-enhanced, or even simply for the gradebook.
