[Wactclc-alma] FW: Query not saving because it was build in Alma's classic UI/Connexion Alma issue

FYI...there is an active thread on the ALMA-L listserv regarding Debbie's
initial question about the warning message. There is an active salesforce
case on this and a fix is coming in the November release. I have pasted
the thread below.

George

--------------------------------------------------------

As I’m sure most everyone is aware, a logical set built in the classic UI
cannot be modified or refined in the new UI. You get red warning message
anytime you view the results of such a set.

I’ve recently learned that this same warning is appearing on sets that have
been created by clicking “Save Query” when viewing the Imported Records on
an import profile’s job history. It seems to apply to any and all set
created this way. I’ve found this to be true not only for jobs run in the
new UI, but also for import profiles that themselves have been created
using the new UI.

Granted, the query parameters for such a set aren’t likely to need
modification, being just a series of MMS SIP ID numbers. I just wonder if
anyone else has observed this, and if it’s a significant enough issue to
report to Ex Libris.

I’ve seen it as well. It’s silly, but not problematic thus far.

We opened a Salesforce case about this and were told it is going to be
fixed in the November release.
As for it being enough of an issue to report: it clearly is a bug, it has
to do with the new UI, so yes, I’d report it while ExLIbris are still keen
on getting their new development right!
