?It's possible that there were issues on the WVC SFTP server over those days.


Chad, are you aware of any outages at Wenatchee over the past few days, network or server?

It turns out that Yakima's SIS job failure was not caused by a bad character.  Rather, for some reason, Alma was not able to connect to the sftp server for those few days (we don't yet know why)

I've corresponded privately with Tammy about this, but I thought I'd share the answer to her specific question:  How do I check the report details?

I found useful details by viewing the Events (under the Actions button), then hovering on the Event Description. (I know, I know...old UI.  When there is a pressing issue to address and I'm swimming around in the less familiar waters of Alma, I admit I'm still more familiar...and therefore quicker...in the old UI.)

We've seen this from time to time in a few of the Alma instances.

Usually, it has to do with a "bad character" somewhere in one of the records.  (yes, one bad character will make the whole job fail)

Tammy,  I'll look into this and let you know what's causing it (and hopefully offer a solution :) )

The last three times it has run, the job to synchronize our student load has failed (10/21, 10/22, 10/23).  The message is for "Users SYNCHRONIZE using profile SIS Load for Students."

When I check the report it says: The job completed with errors.  For more information view the report details (or contact Support using the process ID).  How do I check the report details?  I don't find a link to do so.  The process ID is 1019540080002828.
