Check the Fulfillment Job Failure report for the day you are concerned about. (If you have the Scheduled Jobs Status widget enabled, it will be on your front page, with a red x rather than a green check mark.)  It will give you a list of what failed and why.

Alma sends emails to patrons with fines, etc.  What happens if an email address is bad and the message is not delivered?  Is there some way the institution is notified?
