[wactc-san] SBCTC SAN Coordinators Update

Hello, WACTC-SAN eList Subscribers.

We wanted to let you know about an update to the coordinators for the SBCTC SAN account. Our SAN account allows us to have three coordinators who are tasked with providing information to all of the constituents covered by the account. The coordinators attend SAN meetings and provide updates to the rest of SBCTC through this mailing list and the Canvas course.

The makeup of the coordinators are:

  *   The SBCTC account holder (Michael Brown, Director, Educational Technology and Open Education)
  *   One chosen by the eLearning Council (two-year term)
  *   One at-large who (hopefully) has a compliance/accreditation role at their college (two-year term)

Kathy Chatfield, Director for eLearning & Instructional Design at Clark College, served as a coordinator from the time SBCTC started the membership in August 2020. She recently stepped down and Gwen Bloomsburg was voted in at the last eLearning Council meeting. Gwen is the Director of the Center for Integrated Learning at Walla Walla Community College. Her experience is mostly in accreditation and assessment, and she is looking forward to learning more and serving the consortium.

A big thank you to Kathy for her leadership in getting this off the ground through developing the Canvas course, communicating to the various commissions and councils, and setting up this mailing list.
