Constitution Day is a requirement for all financial aid eligible institutions.  We haven’t done anything here since I started in 2014 but evidently the library did something before.



  *   Each educational institution that receives Federal funds for a fiscal year is required to hold an educational program about the U.S. Constitution for its students on September 17 (if it falls on a weekend; it should be held in the previous or next week).



Our first day of the quarter is the 18th so we’re looking at doing something that week.  I’ve suggested that maybe our student government would want to do something for students.

Constitution Day falls on a difficult date for programming: generally 10 days before classes start. We send out email to staff with activities, info and a LibGuide. We’ve tried programming but we have had very little participation. I’m curious what others are doing.



I could imagine a shared online event that’s an easier lift for all of us and topically engaging, if others had interest.
