<p class="x_MsoNormal">Constitution Day is a requirement for all financial aid eligible institutions. We haven’t done anything here since I started in 2014 but evidently the library did something before.

<li class="x_MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in">Each educational institution that receives Federal funds for a fiscal year is required to hold an educational program about the U.S. Constitution for its students on September 17 (if it falls on a weekend;
it should be held in the previous or next week).</li></ul>

<p class="x_MsoNormal">Our first day of the quarter is the 18<sup>th</sup> so we’re looking at doing something that week. I’ve suggested that maybe our student government would want to do something for students.

<p class="x_xmsonormal">Constitution Day falls on a difficult date for programming: generally 10 days before classes start. We send out email to staff with activities, info and a LibGuide. We’ve tried programming but we have had very little participation. I’m
curious what others are doing.</p>

<p class="x_xmsonormal">I could imagine a shared online event that’s an easier lift for all of us and topically engaging, if others had interest.
