[LIBRARYDIR] Information Literacy: AAC&U

Hi Greg,

It looks like this rubric was created based directly (word for word?) on the old ACRL Information Literacy standards<https://crln.acrl.org/index.php/crlnews/article/view/19242/22395> that have now been rescinded. Our college's IL "core ability" rubric looks similar to the one you attached, because that's also what it was based on. However it's likely that we will be revising and updating it in the coming year, and probably investigating whether we could/should align it instead with the newer Framework for IL for Higher Education<https://www.ala.org/acrl/standards/ilframework>.

Hi all,

Does anyone have experience with their college using the AAC&U definition and rubric for information literacy? LWTech is considering updating our outcome materials to directly use AAC&U's. See attached.

Thanks,

Greg
