[DEOC] [EXTERNAL] Naloxone/Narcan on your campuses?

We don’t have anything in place at CPTC to distribute or train people in how to administer. When I worked at Highline I got certified but that was connected to me overseeing on campus housing, however the possession of Naloxone was with Public Safety at the time. Not sure if that is still accurate.

BTC has Naloxone/Narcan on campus as of fall this year, they are available in the first aid kits located around campus, giving access to anyone who grabs one, but they are not labeled Naloxone/Narcan just “first aid”.  Some of our emergency response folks have Naloxone/Narcan to bring to incidents that might occur as well. The safety officer on our campus provided several training that anyone on campus could attend on how to use Naloxone/Narcan and where the locations are on campus just last quarter.

There are a few bills this session related to overdose prevention and education and I'm curious if your colleges provide Naloxone/Narcan on your campuses, whether readily available to the public/campus community or through health centers (if you have them)?
