Thanks, Paul- it is a huge deal with this being held in our state.  Think about a proposal for a session that might highlight some of the great work we do in our system and colleges.  A couple of things to keep in mind- the deadline to submit proposals is May 24th – and ACCT is strict about that deadline.  A trustee or trustees need to be on the panel presentation and everyone who is presenting needs to be registered for the Congress.

At the of the Congress, Bellevue College Trustee Rich Fukutaki will become the chair of ACCT- this is an amazing accomplishment for Rich and for our state.  And please plan on attending even if you don’t have a presentation, learning what other states are doing is a great opportunity for us and to create connections across the country.

2024 Call for Presentations Now Open!

If your college has instituted new programs, practices and/or policies that expand the knowledge base, that will challenge and inspire, we encourage you to submit a proposal to present a session at this year's

ACCT Leadership Congress.



Greater consideration will be given to proposals submitted in partnership with other colleges and/or organizations. We are looking for innovative collaborations and lessons that can be applied in multiple contexts, from different perspectives and viewpoints.

·     Collaborative Solutions for Workforce Needs
·     Technology Supported Innovations
·     Enrollment Strategies
·     Creating Inclusive, Student-Centered Pathways for Student Success
·     Effective Board Governance: How to be a Trustee



CONCURRENT SESSIONS

These 60-minute sessions are designed as lecture-type presentations; however, it is recommended that presenters include interactive activities throughout the presentation in order to keep participants engaged. All proposed session topics must identify with one of the tracks that outline the theme of the ACCT Leadership Congress. Each concurrent session must include a minimum of two presenters, and no more than five presenters.



SUBMISSION GUIDELINES


·     Must include trustees among presenters.
·     Must address one of the tracks.
·     All presenters must register for the Congress.
·     Proposal must include a letter of support from the board of trustees of the college.
