Achieving the Dream is excited to announce Dr. Shaun R. Harper, USC Race and Equity Center founder and executive director, as he discusses “Fighting the Injustice of Politicized Attacks on DEI.” This session will

  *   Explore the impact that legislative bans on DEI initiatives are having on higher education institutions and on system-impacted Americans
  *   Offer insights on strategic, collaborative ways to stop the anti-DEI movement from further threatening our democracy

A past president of the American Educational Research Association, he has published 12 books and over 100 academic papers, mostly on DEI-related topics. He has worked with more than 400 K–12 schools, higher education institutions, businesses, and government agencies.
