To better meet the demand for this series we have expanded the capacity of each of the Module 1 offerings. These additional seats will accommodate the more than 300 learners currently on the Module 1 course Express Interest list (who will be notified via Learning Center message that there are seats available for registration).

Greetings State Agency Training Managers,

This message serves as our quarterly update for the DEI Training Series course seat availability for the upcoming quarter. We are also sending you updates that will assist you with getting your members trained as we go forward. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there are any questions.

Also, please ensure that when you disseminate this information to your teams that the leadership is also aware of what is going on and that the classes are FULLY Available to all State Employees. Here is what we have going on for the next quarter of: July to September 2023

We are communicating to you that:

-          The Jul-Sep classes are available for registration as of June 16, 2023

-          The decision has been made to NOT use the waitlist model for registration due to the problems and lost opportunities for participants to get into classes due to vacated seats among other things. Learners will be encouraged to use the course Express Interest lists to be notified automatically of new offerings.

-          Due to the large number of available participants, please encourage your teams to register for Module 1s quickly as there will be limited seating and those they will fill quickly.

-          The DEI Operations Team will communicate out when module seat availabilities are full/filled so that Training Managers are aware of why their employees cannot register

and

-          The DEI Operations Team will send out communications prior to the next set of Module 1s become available in advance so that Training Managers and Leadership are aware of the opportunities to get their team members trained.

Beginning with the upcoming quarter Training Managers at a minimum will receive communications from the DEI OPS Team on a quarterly basis or as needed to notify organizations about the subsequent activation of classes. At present the plan is quarterly.
The goal is to work together to provide Training Managers and their agencies with timely and accurate information for agencies to attend the DEI Training Series which is FULLY OPERATIONAL with multiple seats available weekly.
