Dear College Presidents and Diversity and Equity Officers of Washington State Community and Technical Colleges,

Per the feedback we received at the end of our 2022-2023 session, we are ensuring that we are including you in our email announcement. It is with great pleasure that we announce the opening of registration for the 2023-2024 Faculty of Color Mentoring Program, available to all full-time and part-time faculty members across Washington State colleges. This program has been designed to offer invaluable mentorship and support to faculty members from diverse backgrounds, further enriching our academic community and fostering professional development.

Program Overview:

Eligibility: This program welcomes both full-time and part-time faculty members from all Washington State colleges.

Program Description: The Faculty of Color Mentoring program aims to establish a robust support system, where experienced faculty members have the opportunity to provide mentorship to their peers who identify as people of color. Mentorship will encompass a wide array of professional development areas, such as teaching strategies, research opportunities, career progression, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Why Participate: By participating in this program, faculty members gain access to valuable insights, connect with peers, and actively contribute to the diversity and inclusivity of our academic community.
