Good Morning FA-

The modified custom CBS Setup page has migrated to Production. Please update your CBS Setup page prior to awarding students. Screen shots of what should take place are included further below.

Overview:

  *   Issue: Currently the CBS Setup page does not have a field to store the BAS Full time CBS Maximum amount. The CBS equation engines take the students maximum eligible award amount and subtracts the WCG award amount, often resulting in a negative number which cannot be packaged. FA staff must manually enter or adjust CBS for BAS students.
  *   Solution: Modify the custom CBS Setup page to store maximum award amounts based on degree level. The criteria in the CBS award amount equations has been updated to determine the students program plan and refer to the associated Full Time Maximum CBS BAS award amount in set up to calculate the correct CBS BAS amount for the student.

Set Up SACR > Product Related > Financial Aid > CTC Custom > CTC Interfaces > College Bound Scholarship > College Bound Setup

1. Remove two rows from CBS Set Up

2.Update the Degree Level fields to reflect the CBS Max Amount for BAS and Non-BAS.
