Good afternoon,

Thank you to all who participated in the training session for NSLDS Transfer Monitoring Refresher on Tuesday 10/10/2023.

The session recording and slide deck (also attached) have been posted to the Financial Aid Awarding & SAP Canvas Course, and is also linked below:

If you have not registered for the Canvas Training course, you will receive an 'access denied' message when selecting the above link.  You may register for the course(s) at the ctcLink Training Registration<https://www.sbctc.edu/colleges-staff/it-support/ctclink/ctclink-training-registration.aspx> page.  To access the module, if you have not completed the course before, you must progress through all modules to view the recording.

Additionally, here are answers to the parking lot question we had in the session:


  1.  Hannah Throop (Columbia Basin) - On the assign NSLDS checklist step, [the guide says] it won't assign it if the NSLDS TSM checklist has been assigned, does that include checklists that have a 'completed' status?

Yes that includes the NSLDS Transfer Monitor checklists that are in a 'completed' status.  NSLDS Transfer Monitor EXX062 checklists that have been initiated and then completed will have to be deleted every term before running the next term's TSM process so the query is able to assign it to students that need review.
