[ctcLinkfinaidsupport] Recording Available - Direct Loan Reconciliation Refresher Training Session 11/7/2023

Thank you to all who participated in the training session for the Direct Loan Reconciliation Refresher on Tuesday 11/7/2023.

The session recording and slide deck (also attached) have been posted to the Processing Pell Payment & Direct Loans Canvas Course, and is also linked below:

If you have not registered for the Canvas Training course, you will receive an 'access denied' message when selecting the above link.  You may register for the course(s) at the ctcLink Training Registration<https://www.sbctc.edu/colleges-staff/it-support/ctclink/ctclink-training-registration.aspx> page.  To access the module, if you have not completed the course before, you must progress through all modules to view the recording.

Additionally, we discussed in the session about how to request the dsdf file through COD.  Here is an example screenshot (Thank you, Millicent Ollee of Highline!) on how to request the dsdf file type.  Remember, ctcLink uses fixed-lenth files, not delimited files.  Delimited files are not compatible in ctcLink.  The dsdf file is a fixed-length format file for your recon purposes.
