DID YOU KNOW? If you have queries and or reports you need to run on a frequent basis, you can queue these reports and queries to run on a recurrence, so they are hitting your email inbox daily, weekly, or monthly as you need to work them.

When you Run a query in Schedule Queries, at the Process Scheduler Request page, define your recurrence to go to your email in XML or XLS format, or PDF if you prefer, beginning on a date in the future with a specific run time. Then, select the Distribution link to define where it will go.

Next, define your Folder, Email Only items and Distribute To information. And Voila, you have set up a recurrence!

TUITION-ONLY ITEM TYPES. Are you in the thick of reconciliation right now? Do you have Item Types that are tuition-only item types, and you need to true up the amounts that were awarded vs what’s been expended in SF? Run this query: QCS_FA_AWARD_EXCEEDS_TUITFEES to see what you should be cleaning up. Run it on all your tuition-only Item Types.

Tip! Set this query to run on a recurrence in Schedule Queries so it shows up in your email inbox often. Keep your awards and accounts nice and tidy weekly/monthly so you don’t have to spring clean all at once!
