This calendar invite is for a New Process Financial Aid Training on NSLDS Transfer Monitoring Using Term-Based User Edit Messages (UEMs) which will be held on Tuesday December 19th, 2023, from 9AM - 11:00AM.  This Fin Aid Training Session is a review of a new process that Spokane Falls Community College has piloted for the 2023 AY and has reported that it works beautifully!

Background:
Prior to using UEMs for NSLDS Transfer Monitoring, colleges were using NSLDS Transfer Monitoring checklists to track TSM students and found it challenging to track the history of NSLDS Transfer Monitoring checklist assignment.  Checklists were having to be deleted so they could reassign them again when new or current transfer students needed to be run through the NSLDS Transfer Monitoring process in subsequent terms, thereby deleting all the checklist history.

Solution:
Now, using UEMs, you can track the history of assigned and resolved UEMs, and assign UEMs for Transfer Monitoring per term.

     *   Run NSLDS Push
     *   Resolve NSLDS UEM
Audience:  Staff responsible for monitoring NSLDS transfer monitoring students
