Good morning FA!


The WA Bridge Grant equation engine is now in production! Big thanks to Cascadia, Clark, Spokane and Spokane Falls for testing and approving the equation engine!!


Attached is the setup guide for adding it in your packaging plans. 😊


Selection Criteria

  *   WCG eligible

  *   0-65% MFI

  *   CBS is not ‘Okay to Award’ and not ‘Okay to Pay’

There are two ways that the $500 of WBG can be offered in packaging plans

  *   Award Package Criteria 1 - Evenly split across all terms in packaging plan

  *   Award Package Criteria 2 - Lump sum in the first quarter but all future buckets open

Reminder of known issue with Even Split Option: Those who are choosing the option of evenly splitting $500 across all terms in packaging plans, please remember there are limitations to the functionality of Even Split Option when the annual total is not evenly divisible by the number of terms in the packaging. For example, dividing the $500 for a three-term packaging plan. Since $500 is not cleanly divisible by three, it will package something like $166, $166 and $168 versus $166, $167 and $167 because of the way PS designed the Even Split Option. Similar behavior happens with certain annual totals for Pell packaging and non-enrollment based WCG/CBS packaging.

Colleges with GIFT AID COUNTING criteria in their Need Base Tuition Waiver (913000000100) and/or College Grant (913000000000) equation engines

If you would like your equation engine(s) updated to include WBG, please submit a ticket to ctcLink Support > Financial Aid > FA: Packaging Plans with the equation engine(s) that needs updates.
