[CATO] CATO meeting reminder for 10/10

Hi all,

Something came up and I will not be able to attend today's CATO meeting. I am glad that @Vicki Walton<mailto:vwalton at sbctc.edu> will be able to share about the a11y testing work they have been working hard on, and that our incoming co-chairs @'Zach<mailto:ZLattin at clark.edu> and @mhanscom at highline.edu<mailto:mhanscom at highline.edu> will facilitate today's meeting.

CATO did submit public comment to the Department of Justice's proposed rulemaking regarding Title II of the ADA and web accessibility by the deadline.! You can review the summary of responses in the Public Statement<https://docs.google.com/document/d/19o4KkljkCEtE56El0UYlYn-_WB-L8SNdeZ2SyoFVMEM/edit?usp=sharing> document on our shared drive.

One thing I noticed when organizing submissions from our system is that some people found the questions to be confusing, and it was not clear to them that the questions came directly from the DOJ rather than CATO. So, if our group discusses today any follow up activity to our submission, we will want to clarify to our stakeholders that questions 27-35 were written by the DOJ. Thanks to everyone that helped work on that project!
