[WSSSC] FW: Announcing the 2025–2026 WSSSC Executive Board and Council Assignments

Dear WSSSC Members,

Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent Spring meeting. I’m excited to share the official Washington State Student Services Commission (WSSSC) Executive Board for the 2025–2026 academic year:


  *   President: Karl Smith, Tacoma Community College
  *   President-Elect: Diana Garza, Wenatchee Valley College
  *   Past President: Rob Cox, Centralia College
  *   Secretary: Brandon Dyer, Everett Community College
  *   Treasurer: Judith Hernández Chapar, Bellevue College
  *   Member At Large: Patrick Tanner, Spokane Community College
  *   Member At Large: Ruby Hayden, Lake Washington Institute of Technology

In accordance with our bylaws, I’ve appointed Patrick Tanner and Ruby Hayden to serve as our Members At Large. Their insight and leadership will be instrumental, particularly as we focus on strengthening professional development and supporting Council leadership this year.

Attached you will find the full list of WSSSC Council and Liaison Assignments for 2025–2026.

Looking ahead, we are in the process of scheduling a summer training session for WSSSC Liaisons and Council Leadership. More details will be shared soon. Thank you for your continued dedication to serving our students across the state. Let’s make it a fantastic year.
