Hello again -

I sent that email before providing a sample message! Here's one in case it's helpful:

Nearly $130,000 is still available to allocate to colleges for Emergency Contraception/Opioid Prevention Vending Machine Grants this fiscal year.

WSAC encourages all colleges that have not been awarded this fiscal year to apply for a $10,000 grant to increase your students' access to these important health supplies.

- ANY institution or additional campus can apply for these $10k grants, including those awarded in FY2024.

-          Grant guidelines: https://wsac.wa.gov/sites/default/files/Vending%20Machine%20Grant%20Guidance%20FY25%20.pdf

-          Application link: https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/8003167/2024-25-Health-Vending-Machine-Grant-Application

o This is a simple application that asks for contact information, the plan, the location of the vending/dispenser, and the budget.

o It is not a competitive grant - WSAC will allocate grants on a first come/first served basis.

Subject: $130k in funds remaining- Vending Machine Grant

Hello SBCTC Colleagues,

I wanted to provide an update and enlist your help in encouraging application for the Emergency Contraception/Opioid Prevention Vending Machine Grants.

These CTCs have successfully applied as grantees: Bates, BC, Edmonds, GHC, LCC, North Seattle, RTC, SPSCC, and YVC.

There are a lot of funds left - nearly $130k - and I'd like to encourage any CTC that has not applied this fiscal year to apply for the $10,000 which can be used for the purposes of a successful vending/disbursement of these important health materials.

  * At this stage, ANY institution or additional campus can apply for these $10k grants, including those awarded in FY2024.
  *   Grant Guidelines: https://wsac.wa.gov/sites/default/files/Vending%20Machine%20Grant%20Guidance%20FY25%20.pdf
  *   Application link: https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/8003167/2024-25-Health-Vending-Machine-Grant-Application

A draft message is below if it's helpful in reaching out.

Thanks so much for your collaboration in getting all of these funds into colleges' hands to support students!

Ami
