Subject: Grand River Solutions and Other Issues WSSSC

Joe,

Several AAGs have received requests from their colleges to review a new contract with Grand River Solutions. GRS provides Title IX consulting and training services. The AAGs have identified several issues with the proposed contract that should be resolved before colleges sign off. The AGO is concerned that some colleges might execute this contract without first having it reviewed by an AAG. With this in mind, I was hoping you could push out a message asking that if WSSSC members receive a renewal contract for GRS that they run the contract by their assigned AAG before the college executes it. In the meantime, it is my understanding is that GRS has agreed to extend the current contracts for an additional 60 days, which should remove any pressure to renew at this time.

I believe that Julie Huss with HRMC is being asked to do the same thing with the HRMC membership.

Also, I have once again been assigned to be the AGO liaison for WSSSC. If your members are interested on receiving a legal update or a presentation on a particular legal topic, please let me know.

Bruce
