Greetings, colleagues!



I am super excited to share with you the following news about the Director of Transfer Education position!



Please join me in welcoming to Dr. Valerie Sundby to the SBCTC's Education Division team!



Dr. Sundby has served in our community and technical college system for the past fourteen years in progressive academic leadership roles at both South Puget Sound Community College and at Clover Park Technical College. Prior to her work in the community and technical college system, Dr. Sundby worked in administration at the University of Washington. Dr. Sundby has been instrumental in leading the Articulation and Transfer Council this past year and has been leading the effort for SPSCC's first bachelor degree offering.  These experiences and her "can do" attitude will serve her well as the next Transfer Education director!



Please join me in welcoming Dr. Sundby as she begins to serve in this new role, starting February 22, 2022!



Thank you to those who served on the interview panels! And, a huge thank you to Scott Copeland and Jamie Traugott for picking up the interim director duties!
