Project Background
A statewide Basic Needs Data Work Group<https://drive.google.com/file/d/1o7Pvm_rXAPxEb1sTUGHqaqvejq9LulY4/view?usp=sharing> is proposing a first-in-the-nation coordinated basic needs assessment across all Washington higher education institutions.  With representatives from multiple CTCs and baccalaureate institutions, the Data Work Group has built consensus that critical basic needs data can drive change in institutions, regions, and Washington state. The opportunity:  Colleges are invited to pilot the survey in the 2021-2022 year, which will offer valuable institutional basic needs information.  Pilot colleges will help improve the survey for coordinated assessment statewide in Fall 2022.
