Sue - Bates has moved in a similar fashion as Clark. Limited hours, all services on one campus, no student activities. We are also determining work that can be done from home and trying to reduce staff days on campus to three days a week.

Sue, I have responded in the text below. I appreciate your message and would like to suggest a weekly phone conference of WSSSC members to share information, similar to what WACTC is doing.

Hi all-

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe! This is a very surreal time for our nation and the world. We all now have the same directive from the governor's office re: online instruction. At LCC, we're working on social distancing guidelines for serving students (our campus is open still) but planning for total closure if necessary. How are you all serving students right now?

Are your campuses open?
Clark is working to limit all services to just our main campus, consolidating resources and supports in one location.
Are you limiting access to campus?
We are implementing "limited in-person" services, moving all interactions to phone, email, zoom, etc.
Are you practicing social distancing through serving students through email/phone/zoom rather than face to face?
Yes, we are also cancelling all student activities, including athletics, and discouraging groups from meeting in person. We are implementing social distancing in all common areas and labs.
Other practices?
We have asked our staff to pick up any available disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizers when the find them available and are reimbursing them for their costs.

Thanks for sharing your input. Once our guiding document is drafted, I'm happy to share out our plans.

Best,
Sue
