Hello Researchers,
Hope all is well and your Guided Pathways work is moving forward and gaining momentum. This email has two primary requests for information and review. First, SBCTC is requesting another update/verification of meta-majors offered at your college and any third-party student success tools in use, being considered, or being implemented to support pathways work. The goal behind this data collection is to gain a broad understanding of how pathways are being implemented within the CTC system, this understanding will help guide the development and delivery of pathways-oriented reporting solutions. The Google Sheet in the following link: https://tinyurl.com/metamajors-tools contains a tab for each college who previously provided survey data. Please review your college's meta-majors and third-party success tools and make any necessary updates. If your college doesn't have a tab, please feel free to duplicate a tab and enter your college's information.
Second, SBCTC would like to share the results of the recent meta-major coding initiative in Legacy by providing the related meta-major data now available in the data warehouse. In the Google Sheet tab "Legacy - EPC to Meta-Major Coding (All)", you'll find the Legacy meta-major data extracted from the data warehouse. Please review to ensure the Legacy meta-major data is correct. Please note: the meta-majors in the data warehouse are the global meta-major codes and titles, they may not reflect the meta-major nomenclature on your campus (the global codes should correspond though).

P.S. The new data warehouse tables used to create the Google Sheet tab "Legacy - EPC to Meta-Major Coding (All)" are named [LOOKUP].[DW_REF_ENR].[EDUC_PRG_TBL] & [SMIS].[DW_ENR].[META_MAJOR].
