We need your input on a one-question survey<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdk8XSdcl1hZ2nsZyi8TAcwTwn8bNeXVwUGbf2f2audS3xePA/viewform?usp=sf_link> to assess interest in pursing a system-wide Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Administrative Law Judges (ALJs) to serve as Title IX hearing officers.


Context: Representatives from WSSSC, Human Resources Management Commission (HRMC), and SBCTC met with Dave Stolier and Bruce Marvin from the Attorney Generals Office earlier this week to talk about the possibility of setting up an MOA with ALJs to conduct Title IX hearings. Costs are $180/hour for ALJs and $110/hr for support staff.


Dave Stolier is working on more details of the agreement. The MOA would put an infrastructure in place but not commit a college to pay for services unless they decided to hire them for a hearing.


More details (and upcoming training from AAGs office) coming soon. In the meantime, please respond by Wednesday, December 9, if your college would be interested in SBCTC setting up an MOA with the ALJs.
