Subject: RE: Final opportunity to participate in national study of academic and student affairs leaders
Hi Jan,

I’m writing to let you know that the Academic and Student Services Ecosystem Survey, a national survey of chief academic and student affairs officers at community, junior, and technical colleges, is closing this Friday, May 10th.

Later today, a final reminder message for the survey will be sent from Karen Stout, President and CEO of Achieving the Dream. If there are channels through which you can encourage the chief academic and student affairs officers in Washington to take the survey, we would greatly appreciate it. To enable this outreach, I would be happy to provide a list of the individuals in Washington who were invited to take the survey.

If you have any questions about the study or require additional information, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Best,
Christine

Dear Jan,

I wanted to follow up on my message from last week regarding this important study of chief academic and student affairs officers at community, junior, and technical colleges nationally.

Earlier today, we sent a reminder message for the survey in partnership with Rufus Glasper, the President and CEO of the League for Innovation in the Community College. If there are channels through which you can ask the chief academic and student affairs officers in your state to keep an eye out for this message and consider completing the survey, we would greatly appreciate it.

If you have any questions about the study or require additional information, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Best,
Christine

Dear Jan,

Last week, the student and academic affairs leaders at two-year colleges in Washington received an invitation to participate in a national study being conducted by Ithaka S+R, a not-for-profit research organization. I am writing to you now in the hopes that you might forward this email to chief academic and student affairs officers at two-year colleges within your state to encourage them to take the survey.

This study seeks to better understand the types of academic and student support services two-year colleges should offer to help students succeed in meeting their educational goals. It will provide the two-year college community with a valuable data source to inform future decision-making.

Through this study, we aim to not only conduct research but also to collaborate deeply and thoughtfully with two-year colleges to help them provide the highest level of support to their students. Participants who complete this survey will be invited to join a webinar where Ithaka S+R will discuss the findings in conjunction with our release of a public report of results.

We will be sending a reminder message to those who have not yet completed the survey tomorrow and would be immensely grateful if you would encourage these individuals in your state to participate in this important study. If there is anyone in your state who did not receive an invitation to participate but meets the criteria for the study, we would be more than happy to extend an invitation.

If you have any questions about the study or require additional information, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Best,
Christine
