Greetings, colleagues!

I have some incredibly exciting news: Dr. Marisa Herrera has joined Shoreline Community College as our VP for Students, Equity, & Success. Please join me in welcoming her to WSSSC!! Marisa is coming to us from the University of Washington, and has a tremendous breadth of experience that I'll let her fill you in on :). We are so fortunate to have Marisa on board - she started today.

While I will greatly miss seeing all of you, I am sure you will find Marisa a valuable member of WSSSC. At the same time, in our organizational structure at Shoreline, we continue to have both academics and student success in one area, so you'll still be seeing me at events and the conference and so on!
