Hi All,

We've almost made it to the end of another historic quarter. Hope you are doing well. It was great to connect at the conference. I missed our gatherings.

I know you are inundated, but can you tell me what book you use for your Stress Management class and if you think it is a good one?

Looking for one that's not too dense, not expensive, and easy to read with chapters on topics such as nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, social support, etc. Also really need something that was published within the last 5 or less years - preferably less.

At BC, we've long used "10 Simple Solutions to Stress" and the students and the counselors who teach the course really like it. It's a small book, but since it was printed in 2007, the sources are getting quite dated - though the info is still great.

There is a newer version of this, but it is essentially a micro-book, not enough content for a class. And I think the class would lose some credibility if we used a microbook!

If you have a more current book that you recommend that is easy to read, not too dense and not too expensive, we'd love to know what you are using.

We have been searching for a new book - looking online, in bookstores, in libraries, and haven't found anything yet.

If you don't mind shooting me an email, I would so appreciate some ideas. Maybe there is a newer version of the one you use, if yours was also published a number of years back.

Thank you! Wanting to send out this group email instead of emailing each school individually.
