At Highline college, licensed psychologists and licensed mental health counselors write letters documenting a student's diagnosis, (since they can do this) for Access Services (our office that provides accommodations for students with disabilities) with a student's signed Release of Information (ROI).  We did this before the Pandemic and we continue to do so.

Hello All!

I am curious if any of you provide assessment and diagnosis of anxiety or depression for students seeking accommodations that have barriers to getting into a community provider? If so, could we connect please so I can learn more about your process?  We are not currently doing this, but it has been discussed to help students gain access to services.
