This is probably SF ticket time on this one...

But to offer an alternative suggestion, for anyone interested in this thread, using a Digital Collection for these titles would be another way to do this, and possibly better.

Tags are more for user / crowdsourced tagging of titles.

For curated "tagging" of collections, the "Collections" feature set might be a better fit.

Pierce doesn't current have local electronic collections, I think.

But LWTech provides a good example:

It seems the titles Primo decides to duplicate change!

OK, I'm definitely more suspicious of the tag name similarity possibility now.

The 'since time immemorial' tag reports 8 matches in the summary list. But when you click on it you get 84 results (at least I do).

The combined totals of the numbers reported in the summary is 64 + 8 + 13 = 85.

One of the titles has multiple versions, resulting in a total count of 84 results in the Primo brief results.

At least with 'since time immemorial', I think the tag similarity is the issue.

My suggestion would be to delete the 'since time immemorial ece' tag in Alma, and see how the counts in the remaining lists turn out after that.

If you haven't already, try adding a tag to an already tagged title to see if the total reported count increments by one.

You could add the  'since time immemorial k-3' tag to this record:

992333273402818

As this record appears in the 'since time immemorial k-3' tag list twice for me. It would be interesting to see if it appears 3 times, or if the reported results count changes from 64.

Another thought... do some of the title have all 3 tags? All 3 tags start with the same string, so I just wonder if the 'exact' nature of the query isn't working properly, the tags are being greedily matched?

And I agree, I can't see any way to generate a list of titles with a given tag, other than through Primo.

That info resides only in Primo, and I don't see any way to get to it through Primo analytics, for example.

We've noticed that the list starts duplicating titles around item number 30. What's interesting is that the titles that were duplicated on Friday are different than the titles the list is duplicating today. I've checked in Alma and I'm not seeing duplicate titles cataloged.

And I don't think we can tag an item twice, but you wouldn't be able to tell in Alma anyway. You can see how many records were tagged, but not what records.

I checked the Primo listserve and tried to see if there was anything helpful in the Ex Libris knowledge center, but no dice!
