As noted in the meeting notes above, I created an Analytics report you can use to view your current user record counts by user group and purge date.
In addition, the first tab of the IPEDS dashboard lists user record counts by user group and expiration status (expired vs unexpired)

And just an example of purge results... Skagit Valley College ran a purge of their student user group following the meeting.


  *   From a pool of about 20,000 student records in Alma, about 14,000 were purged. Skagit purged based on 30 days after purge date, with their Alma purge date being set to 1 year after expiration date.
  *   So, SVC was essentially targeting students whose Alma records had been expired at least 2 years.
  *   They chose not to waive any existing fees for the purge, which resulted in about 350 user records that were not deleted for outstanding fees.
