Hi, all,

In case you haven't heard, I am retiring the end of June this year. Yakima Valley College<https://www.yvcc.edu/> has just posted the position for Director of Library & Media Services<https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/yvccwa/jobs/3053900/director-of-library-and-media-services>.  Please share.

The library director currently handles all of the administration, configuration, and troubleshooting for Alma/Primo, though we hope to get an additional faculty librarian position in the future to help carry this load.

I encourage those interested to apply. The college is a Hispanic-Serving Institution with many grants supporting students and helping with library collections. The campus is beautiful with many new buildings and straddles three sides of one of the main intersections in town. There is lots of sun and not much rain or snow. The library<https://www.yvcc.edu/services/library/> is in Raymond Hall which was completely remodeled and expanded in 2008 and sits in the center of the north campus.
