FYI, thanks so much for the suggestion about the Extensions, Dan! She updated her browser and it wasn't until she disabled extensions that the Pin showed up again.

Unfortunately, she has multiple extensions, so she doesn't know which one was causing the problem. I asked her to try each of them one at a time so we can isolate which one causes the Pin function to disappear. Then, I will open a case. I will report back to the list which extension or extensions are causing this problem...

HI Dan:

Thanks. I will ask about extensions and see if that could be an issue...

Hey Elena,

Sorry about that misunderstanding, I see now. I logged into our Primo and was able to pin a brief record to my favorites. I've confirmed the record in my favorites folder. I'm running Version 83.0.4103.61 (Official Build) (64-bit).

If the user's version is close to or at that, it may be an extension they're running. Do you know if they have any addons on their browser?

I will suggest that she update Chrome so that she can see if that makes a difference. However, the Pin function was showing up on her browser on the weekend, but it suddenly disappeared on Monday. She is using this version of Chrome: 81.0.4044.138 64 bit. I'm using the very same one and not having this issue...

Time to open a case?

Thanks,

Elena

Pin as in the facets? Like pinning a facet so you can change the search terms without losing the facet selector?

CAUTION: This email came from a non-OC system or external source. Beware of phishing and social engineering!

Hi everyone:

One of our librarians is experiencing the "Pin" function in Primo VE disappearing on her home computer when she accesses through Chrome. It started happening on Monday. She can see the "Pin" function when she uses Firefox.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not able to duplicate this phenomenon, so I'm not sure what to suggest to her.

Thanks!
